The STIHL MSA 220 TC-O is the most powerful top-handle chainsaw in the STIHL battery-powered lineup, boasting power and performance similar to professional gas top-handle chainsaws. By utilizing the same 3/8” STIHL PICCO™ chain and 12” ROLLOMATIC® E and E Light guide bars as its gas-powered counterparts, the MSA 220 TC-O helps pros seamlessly make the switch from gas to battery power. With a high chain speed and durable parts such as a magnesium motor housing and a brushless motor, in-tree professionals can count on this saw to hold up to a heavy workload. An LED display screen provides quick status updates and helps to keep pros moving. Downtime is limited with the MSA 220 TC-O’s weather-resistant design, low maintenance, easy service and replaceable parts. • STIHL has developed a system for minimizing the vibration levels of handheld outdoor power equipment. The STIHL anti-vibration system helps reduce operator fatigue and provides a more comfortable working experience.

• The advanced brushless motor virtually eliminates maintenance while supplying the power and performance you expect from STIHL.

• The captive bar nut  is held securely in place, which eliminates the risk of dropping or losing the bar nut during saw chain maintenance.

• The Ematic™ guide bar, when used with STIHL OILOMATIC® saw chain, will provide proper lubrication and less oil consumption than conventional methods. The system works because two ramps, strategically placed in the guide bar rail, help contain the flow of oil and direct all lubrication to the sliding faces of the bar and chain links as well as the rivets and driver holes, which in turn can reduce bar oil consumption up to 50%.

• This tool is IPX4-rated weather-resistant construction and has been designed and tested for splash water protection.
